Support groups in Blackpool's South Shore
'That Friday Feeling' and 'Soul Food'
Toc H, in partnership with St Peter’s Church, will use funding from Westhill to deliver two new weekly support sessions to homeless and vulnerably housed adults in Blackpool's South Shore.
That Friday Feeling (Fridays) - a creative arts group
That Friday Feeling uses creative arts to explore building strength through faith. Over time attendees will create a mixed-media mural in response to stories from the Bible. These pictures are murals which previous support groups at the Church have created. Attendees, inspired by reflective practice, will create a similar mural to be displayed for the congregation.
Soul Food (Wednesdays) - a guided faith discussion delivered alongside a complimentary lunch
Participants will also be able to access practical support, including benefits and debt advice, foodbank and addiction services.
