Welcome to The Lighthouse, a vibrant community hub that hosts a range of creative projects to support and empower those who find themselves on the margins.

Our mission is to address the widespread poverty of resources, relationships, and identity.

We seek to transform lives through kindness, belief, and hope.

Projects within our Lighthouses in Woking town centre and on Barnsbury estate are incredibly varied.

The common theme is that we want to encourage, empower, and equip people. 

The projects kindly being supported each week by Westhill Endowment in 2023 are:

'Creative Collective’ - a group where individuals struggling with mental health issues or social isolation etc, can join in to express themselves creatively, learning new skills and making friends in the process.

'Style Studio’ - for men and women, where those needing clothing (e.g. people escaping domestic abuse or refugees) can come and choose clothing items with dignity, and;

'The Baking Table' - where vulnerable women can meet together to learn a new skill in a nurturing environment.
