Seedbeds
Accredited Change Makers Programme
Seedbeds is piloting an accredited version of its established Change Makers: Developing Local Community Leaders programme, in order to provide a national qualification for its participants. In gaining a recognised NCFE Certificate Level 3 in Sustainable Community Leadership we hope this will help build confidence and give access to further vocational pathways and training.
This programme aims to equip a new generation of local community leaders, focussing on growing each emerging leader’s capacity in the critical qualities of compassion, innovation, and resilience, as well as building life-long connections, self-awareness and skills for change. Participants of this qualification will shape their ideas for change in the areas of community building, community organising, and community enterprise.

Seedbeds, is a community interest company that dreams of a world where every local community flourishes.
Every neighbourhood holds the seeds of transformation, and the key to growth lies in discovering, connecting and releasing the unique gifts and talents of local people and places through local leadership and incubator programmes.
The Seedbeds' Change Makers: Developing Local Community Leaders programme traditionally runs on weekends over four months and includes a residential weekend, away day sessions, coaching sessions, best practice site visits and a pitch of an idea for change to a resource panel before graduation.
