Encounter Christianity is a Bristol based charity, staffed by a team of qualified Christian teachers, who aim to enrich the religious education of local pupils.
They seek to educate pupils in the Christian faith by planning and delivering enjoyable and informative educational experiences and encouraging a thoughtful, questioning approach to RE.
They also provide teaching resources and training for non-specialist teachers to deliver Christian religious education.
They want to ensure that, within education, Christianity is appropriately represented.
They believe that every pupil should be given the opportunity to:
- have a positive encounter with a Christian
- learn about the Christian faith in an interactive and engaging way
- hear the gospel message
- have the chance to ask questions.
