The Grave of Dreams
Dear God...
“Hardly anyone can ever find God because God is right at the end of your mind after all the background thoughts are gone.”

G.A.P Entertainment is a Faith-based motivational arts company which specializes in the development, production and promotion of purpose driven entertainment.

We want to maximise industry awareness by standing the gap and providing a platform of positive opportunities for marginalised, under and/or misrepresented groups within arts, media & entertainment. We work with people who have a passion for the arts but lack access, finance or have limited education.

Our mission is to engage the community, develop audiences & produce projects led and/or aimed at the B.A.M.E community, dis-advantaged young people, women and faith groups. We work with both, professional and amateur performers, producers, churches, schools, youth & art organisations, to bring forth regular workshops, training and events to engage, educate and empower all.

The Platform project is 12 month empowerment programme, where we offer young  people ages 5-25  a platform to life changing creative opportunities, whilst giving them a chance to develop new skills in performing arts which they otherwise wouldn’t which they may have struggled to because of social, economic, religious and cultural barriers.

Participants will have the opportunity to receive weekly industry standard training in dance, music, drama, media & life coaching. Throughout the programme they will participate in up to four community arts events/projects and gain a formal performing arts qualification

Our main objective throughout the Platform project is, to fulfil our God given mission by becoming stewards of our gifts, as a catalyst in loving our neighbour  by helping those in need build stronger community relations. There is a need for the gospel to reach young people in an exciting way that the young people can relate to.

All our projects are based on the messages taught in the Christian Faith some of which are also taught in other faiths. A lot of our projects also uncover issues young people face surrounding B.M.E culture. However our projects are open to all and never exclusive to people of a certain faith, age or race.

In the world we are living in, it is difficult for young people to have or find their faith as their moral compass is constanly being tested in everyday life. The project gives the young people the power to make a change by being active within the community allowing their voices to be heard and their talents to be nurtured and showcased, ultimately becoming a steward for their own generation.
